Come and celebrate all the hardwork our volunteers, parents, young people and workers have put into raising money for a new minibus. There’ll be live bands, performances, karaoke, games, food, jumble sale, bouncy castle, face painting, henna and most importantly we will annouce the total ammount of money raised. We hope you can join us for whati s promised to be a great afternoon’s entertainment. There will be lots of other things happening up and down Powell Road so make sure you dont miss out.

Directly after the fundraiser, from 5 – 8, there will be a party where members from LWT will receive certificates for all their hard work over the last few months, people attending can make videos to go straight onto our website, and you can dance till you drop as we party to celebrate the new website.

From 12pm – 5pm on Saturday 17th April, come down and spend your pennies and pounds on a jumble sale, raffle, face-painting, food as well as lots of other fun ways to raise money for the centre.See the flyer for more info.
The Saturday Play Project worked with Headliners to produce these two songs, as well as a music video. Check them out. This should whet your appetite for the video, soon to follow.
Hounslow and Huddleston young people took part in joint budgeting to decide what to buy for lunch. This is to build up to disabled young people in Hounslow being on a panel to agree on how Hounlsow will commission their Short Breaks spend.
The People Speak and members of the Huddleston Centre ran their first training session with disabled young people in Hounslow. The young people were introduced to the different bits of technology involved, and tested it out by having a discussion and votes about girls vs. boys.
Working with The People Speak again, two groups of young people gathered at the Huddleston Centre to decide what they wanted their website to look like.
There were hundreds of ideas for colours, themes, celebrities and website styles – and thanks to the generous Open Source designers and developers who make their website themes available for free we were able to try them all out live!
The two favourites in the end were Rhapsody 1.0 by Minmin, and 3d-Reality by Rankerz.
