Working with The People Speak again, two groups of young people gathered at the Huddleston Centre to decide what they wanted their website to look like.
There were hundreds of ideas for colours, themes, celebrities and website styles – and thanks to the generous Open Source designers and developers who make their website themes available for free we were able to try them all out live!
The two favourites in the end were Rhapsody 1.0 by Minmin, and 3d-Reality by Rankerz.
Next step: make our own Huddleston-themed version!
The young people got together again for another discussion about music, art and entertainment – feeding their ideas about what they’d like to see at Discover Young Hackney in 2010.
In the first DYH events, the young people discussed which were their favourite artists, best musical styles, and looked at who they would want to book for the music festival of their dreams!
